Description:

This frame loom class is designed for weavers of all levels. From beginners to experienced weavers, this class is perfect for all levels. Using different textures and an array of colors, you will learn to create a one of a kind wall hanging. You will learn how to warp a frame loom. You will play with weaving techniques such as Tabby, Rya, and Soumak and then explore different ways you can finish your wall hanging.

Materials needed: Please bring your own frame/tapestry loom. We recommend the Lilli Loom from Schacht. Must be purchased before the class (it needs to be put together.) Class looms are not provided.



Participants need to purchase or bring the following supplies when they come to class:

All yarns and fibers are included in this class. If you have a Lilly loom you may bring your own. Otherwise we will be using the class Lilly Looms. The warp provided is for this particular loom and the materials are calculate for the size of the loom. If you have a different brand of loom, please make sure to clear it with the instructor.

Participants may also bring the following supplies to class:

  • Pen and paper for notes

  • Scissors


Please register for all classes at least 24 hours in advance.
Unless specified, materials are not included in the cost of class.
