Scotlander Cardigan Project Class
The Scotlander is a cardigan that can be worn while riding horses through the dark forest or while tending to one’s herb garden. If you are new to cables, this is a good sweater for you. In this class we will walk you through Casapinka’s pattern, help you with your gauge and show you how to create this beautiful cabled design. This Cardigan is knit flat but all in one piece. This Cardigan has a timeless look and can become a stable in a knitter’s wardrobe.
This is a 3 part class. Students must know how to knit, purl. Helpful things to know: the basic idea of how to do a cable and how to pick up stitches. This Cardigan uses a wool or wool blend, DK weight yarn.
Students please bring a variety of needle sizes around circular needles in US sizes 4,5, 6 or 7 we will use these to get the correct gauge. The pattern calls for a US 5 & 6.
1116 (1393, 1547, 1772, 1970, 2298) yds of a DK yarn.
Please come early to purchase your pattern and have a printed out paper version for class.
Call with any questions.
