Plying 101

Participants need to purchase or bring the following supplies when they come to class:
(Please arrive a few minutes early to purchase your materials.
Spinning wheel in good working condition
(If you don’t have your own wheel, you can reserve one of ours to use for the class.)
1 empty bobbin
Scissors
Participants should prepare the following ahead of time to get the most from the class:
3-7 bobbins or balls/cakes of pre-spun wool single ply yarn
(Bring singles that you are okay using for practice—the more the better as you will be sampling several different techniques.)
Optional items participants should bring to class if you have them:
