  • Design & Symmetry: Creating repeating patterns or stripes that match across both placemats.

  • Texture & Durability: Selecting the best yarns for table linens that are both beautiful and washable.

  • Finishing Touches: Hemstitching techniques and how to properly finish your edges for long-lasting use.

Class Details

  • Duration: 4 Hours

  • Skill Level: Intermediate (Must be able to warp a loom independently).

  • Requirement: Students must bring their own Rigid Heddle Loom (at least 15" wide) and accessories.

  • Materials: 15” Rigid Heddle Loom, 10 dent reed (we can make 8 dent work too.) Worsted Weight Cotton-2 or 3 colors

    **Weaver’s Tip: Woven placemats make incredible gifts! Once you master the "Dinner for Two" setup, you'll have the skills to warp for a full set of six or eight.
