Build Your Knitting Skills 2

In this class, you will boost your knitting skills by learning some of the standard knitting abbreviations that can be found in pattern directions. Next, you will learn a new cast-on that can also be used as a provisional cast-on.

Then you will knit and compare the properties of several simple increases and decreases. You will also practice “TINKing”, or un-knitting, your stitches (handy for going back if you’ve made a mistake) before working a crocheted bind-off. Lastly, we will cover different methods of knitting in the round, and send you on your way with a basic hat pattern that will let you practice what you’ve learned.
